DOG BLOG Feb.1, 2012 -What a late Dec - January deep freeze we have had!Three layers of long underwear, fleece pants and then snowpants. Two more fleece jackets, then a parka.Right now it's -16F and does that seem warm. The dogs have kept their weight and enthusiasm, we even did a mushing school yesterday at -35F with 2 guests who were great sports. Thanks Brian and Gail! The dogs breath made frosty clouds above their heads in the bright sunlight. We are so ready to head out on longer runs. Lining up the spring for extended trips...We loved Copper Lake so much in the Wrangells we are offering it again in late March/early April. I'll be posting details soon, or just email me. I'm also honored to be included in the University of Alaska's History of Dogmushing project, see the link below. Welcome to the Dog Blog. Visit daily to find out what
